Really liked the composition of each shot lying inside a frame of a black background, very unique feel to it. Soundtrack is also on point, adds a lot to the atmosphere and is quite accurate, I would say.
All in all, huge fan of these pencil works! I feel as if they have a very limited amount of space in them that you know how to make use of

wow. Great compliments, i really appreciate them!

Loved your character and background designs. Really unique and leaves a lot of room for further imagination. Leaving the door open at the end was an interesting touch too!
I can learn a lot from this, and definetely will be looking out for more. This was an experience!

AntonM responds:

Thanks!! Glad you liked it dude, hope you like the stuff coming up

I really enjoyed the scrambled text bit and text-speaking overall, and minimalistic tune at the end . Really adds to the uncertainty and uneasiness of it.
For me it leaves a long-lasting feeling that the bad dream never ended and it will keep going. The dream itself is dangerous and functions as the distorted anticipation to the the future or the past. The only way to stop its effects is to never let the events of it happen, to never put yourself into them, which is why the character calls off sick, never going to work, unaccepting the possibilities of the dream repeating. It might be dangerous for others and is certainly harmful to him, as he loses his job, but he just accepts it knowing that it is only going to get worse if he continues.
Also cool circular-window effect. I noticed that dream's field of view works similar to this, but I never imagined it as a circle.

Really appreciate this responce. I had a dream that was somewhat similar to this, unpleasant mostly in what I did rather than what was done to me. Then the post bad dream haze you wake up in, thats something im sensetive about and wanted to touch on. Your take on the phone call is more elaborate than my own, and I think theres alot of truth to it.

This is really cool and is really well done! I loved it from the top to the bottom: the scribbly backgrounds and their colors ( just look at those dark shades! :0 ), the geometrical designs of the characters, the way the shots are positioned, the perspective angles, the eerie and slightly uncomfortable but inviting atmosphere of the piece.. Really good timing on the dreamy parts too. You got the length of them just right to keep the viewer submerged and not to lose the feeling of the progression (also the transitions from one shot to another are very smooth and are quite interesting too follow! )
I got a bit confused with the animation of the dog's head, but I actually had to rewatch the film once again to notice it as I immediately forgot about it once I was halfway through the piece. Overall, this is some neat stuff! I am certainly glad I saw this today

Thanks! Glad you liked it

Its really bizarre to see, how the NG community reacts to your creations, regarding your recognition on youtube. Really good stuff, always looking forward to getting more. ( Also sound/voice design in "Not so fast" was brilliant, I wonder how you did that)

Ey, that was quite a sensual experience. I would have wanted to call using David's voice cheating, but I cannot. The colors were nice and the whole idea as well. My favprite part was the dirtmouth in the soil. Friccing cool.

Also I wonder how you've got David to help you. Does he offer his talent for somebody else?

I really liked this! I think the surprising happy ending made it only better.
However, some of the movements were a bit too fast and lacked weight ( in the hill-climbing scene, for example. Also in my opinion the pauses between dialogue lines were a little short, which made it seem rushed. The pauses will give everything more significance and time for the viewer to process what is happening.
Overall, great job! Will be glad to see more work from you in the future

M-Balmes responds:

Thank you very much!

This is actually pretty good. However I would suggest a more often change in scenery and in the position of the character ( for example you could make a scene where he walks beside you, while continuing with the story )

CacklingPumpkins responds:

Thanks for the feedback! And honestly that's a good idea. Having BuNNy interact with the view like he's having a conversation with them.
